One sunny day in San Diego, Allan spent the day walking together with his musician friend, Jean Charles Francois, One person silently leading, the other following and continuosly trying to walk on the shadow of the other's head. As the leader turned and the sun mounted in the sky, the shadow shifted and the follower had to scramble to keep in touch with it. What we are trying to do today is to keep in touch with Allan's shadow. -David Antin

Was a great celebration. I'm a former student and publisher of The ACT, which focused on Allan's art and people working on the art/life border. (I'm in front there with hat).
